Elbow Creek PTO
Welcome to Elbow Creek PTO! We are a group of Parents, Teachers, Friends, and Family who support activities at Elbow Creek Elementary School. This is a fantastic group of people whose focus is on making our school the best it can be! We love new volunteers and ideas! Want to learn more? In addition to these activities, we support the school with funds for different programs, all focused on improving our school. Our Jog-a-thon goes to fund the class field trips that are taken during the year. We’ve been able to donate $16,000 worth of books for our library in the last two years. We recently purchased 40 computers for the library so all students can have additional access to computers. We provide each teacher with a small budget for classroom supplies at the beginning of each year, as well as provide funding to support incentives for student attendance and our Accelerated Reading program. These are just a few examples of the positive things we’ve been able to do at Elbow Creek with the funds we’ve raised. If you would like to get involved, we have meetings the first Thursday of each month at 7 PM in the cafeteria. We welcome all of you to join our group!
